If you don't know me, or don't know well enough, Bufallo Wild Wings AKA Bdubs is my place. I contemplated using the phrase home away from home but figured that sounded a bit concerning. Anyways, ever sense high school when the closest Bdubs was 30 minutes away it became a treat to venture to Owatonna for some wings. Confession, I actually never ate the wings until senior year of high school because their cheeseburger sliders had my heart. Buffalo Wild Wings has always been there for me so I'd like to give back and be there for them (not actually just with providing a good word).
If you're an avid Bdubs goer like myself this information may be irrelevant for you but a refresher never hurts. Bdubs is the mecca of wings and if you go on Tuesday or Thursday you won't only get a large amount but also for a INSANELY cheap price. Bone in Tuesdays feature Bdubs traditional wings at .45cents per wing. I never attend traditional wing night because being a millennial makes me not a traditional type of gal (jokes). But Thursdays are boneless wing night charging .60cents per wing. The thing about wing night is you can mix and match sauces; so the world is literally your oyster but instead of oyster it's your...(insert reference about wings or chickens here).
Not to get sappy but Bdubs has always been there for me and never lets me down. When I go I know exactly what I'm going to get every time and each time I leave satisfied. When I had club diving practice at the University of Minnesota, an hour and a half drive one way from my house, Bdubs was always the last stop on the way home to grab dinner. I had it all mapped out, I'd hit a city roughly ten minutes or so away from the Bdubs exit, place my to go order, walk right in and be back on the road within minutes. It was the perfect after practice treat and dinner all rolled into one.
There has only been ONE time Bdubs let me down. From the length of this post it's really clarified for me that I've never had so much faith and trust in a boyfriend that I do for Bdubs. This is getting sad... but lets continue. It was the Mall of America Bdubs that had just opened (already making excuses for their mistake WOW). I ordered the salted pretzels with queso (my usual) and was really looking forward to them (also my usual). They came and I dove right in disregarding whether they were hot or not. Turned out they were overcooked and rock solid. I was pissed. I knocked the rock solid pretzel on the side of the table and shook my head in dismay. I couldn't believe Bdubs had failed me. But then, just like the fairy godmother in Cinderella the waitress took them back and brought us a new fresh batch and didn't charge us for them.
You see... Bdubs has it all; class, a plethora amount of TVs, fast service, and good wings/pretzels. If you've never had the pretzels I recommend them on your next visit. Also, show them this post and receive a free snack size boneless wings! Totally kidding, but Bdubs if you're out there and reading this just know...I'd go to war for you.
Much Love & Respect.
